Welcome to the Frankfort Ski Club!
The "Frankfurter Hotdog Ski Club, Inc." was formed by a group of college friends... years ago. Back in those days, a ski vacation began with a caravan of vans heading for the Colorado Rockies! Later, our little club bought a bus and converted it to a more appropriate vehicle that seated adults, stored skis, baggage and refreshments and had a dance floor and sound system in the back!
Today, the Frankfort Ski Club offers a variety of domestic and international ski trips at competitive group prices. Our group participates in a two-month racing program each January and February. Then, when the snow melts, we enjoy plenty of other activities like canoeing, rafting, camping, water skiing, volley ball, biking and hiking in the mountains.
Frankfort Ski Club members range from first-time skiers and boarders to instructors. FSC meetings are enjoyable social gatherings that are hosted by various members in homes throughout the central Kentucky area. Traditionally, our meetings are held on the first Sunday of every month. The FSC is a member of the Ohio Valley Ski Council. The OVSC is composed of 17 KY, OH, IN and WV ski clubs and our members are able to participate in any of over 100 ski trips each year.
